We are excited to share with you that our 2026 English Camp sponsored by Church of the Hills Presbyterian in Evergreen, CO has received great interest and the team is filling up quickly.  We still have space for 4 additional team members.  

Here are the details:

Trip Dates:  June 12 - 21, 2026

Trip Cost:  $1475 + airfare (variable)

Trip Deposit:  $500. 

Deadline for application and trip deposit:  November 15, 2025

Deposit and subsequent trip payments can be made by credit card on our secure Stripe processor at: Work Trip Membership Payments

We hope you will join us for our 9th annual English Camp where you will help provide a week of intensive English language instruction to students in the Western Highlands of Guatemala.

No special skills are needed! The ability to speak English and a love of working with young people is all that’s required. We will work with small groups of well-behaved kids, enhancing their basic English skills using conversation, songs, and games.
 
You will also have the opportunity to
• Meet your sponsored student
• Take time to explore the UNESCO World Heritage city of Antigua

A time for fall foliage, pumpkins, costumes, and cooler weather--AND, Blessing of the Animals! We were thrilled to join with the Episcopal church this year at Line Creek Brewery for a festive and fun blessing for the many animals. Newnan Coweta Humane Society was thrilled with the numerous donations made to Pokey's Place. We also celebrated CORRAL in October and it showed in the tremendous monetary donations made to help support the work they do with their riding therapy program. If you want to continue supporting these organizations during the year, please contact the organizations directly for how you can get more involved! Stay tuned for an exciting November as we support Bridging the Gap--to provide Thanksgiving meals to those in need and the annual Christmas in Coweta program. Last Outreach Workshop of the year will be Sunday, Nov 17th immediately following the service. This is our annual cookie swap --so come by and enjoy some goodies!

2024 Bridging the Gap "Christmas in Coweta" Update

"An astounding 2285 Kids were Served through Christmas in Coweta! 🎁🎅 This program would not be possible without the 19 churches ⛪️ 6 schools 🏫 23 businesses 🧱 9 communities or civic groups 🤝 and 86 individuals who shared Christmas cheer to kids! This truly shows the power of community and kindness! 💫 A HUGE thank you to Brent Scarbrough & Company, Inc. for their unwavering support and use of their hanger! 🙌 Without them, this event wouldn't have been possible. February 2025 Outreach Update

February 2025 Outreach Update We are highlighting Angel's House (Chicken Run--annual fundraiser is Feb 1st) and One Roof. Donations can be made to support the Angel's House home and/or to help stock the pantry at One Roof. If you want more information how you can donate your time and energy, please contact Dale directly at  dale.bowers1@gmail.com The final trip with a church group to Merida will happen this month. We appreciate David, Andrea, Melanie, and Kay for taking the time to go down to share fellowship with our sister church in Sitpatch. We look forward to continuing to support them with a student scholarship. Next stop in global missions--Pura Vida in Guatualema June 14-22 where we will help build a home for a deserving family.
