July Outreach Update

Summer of Service has already been a slipping sliding good time as we celebrated the children at Hope Global! We enjoyed hotdogs, popsicles and a slip and slide--and fun was had by all!

Thanks to the generosity of our congregation, Hope Global also received a donation from NPC for $1690 !! This will continue to provide them with the support they need to have activities and food available to the kids in this neighborhood! We are thrilled to see our Faith in Action--right in our own backyard!!

The Summer of Service continues as we partner with Bridging the Gap providing lunches to our local kids in the CJ Smith park! Come join us July 22-26 to either help make the lunches or hand them out--any amount of time is appreciated! (generally lunches are made between 9-1030 and then lunch is handed out approx 1130am - 1pm). Look for sign ups or contact Dale Bowers or Andrea for more information!

Save the Date: August is Global Missions Month--we will highlight our partnership with our sister church in Merida Mexico; our connection with Pura Vida in Guatemala and we will be having our Aug 11th church service in Barrow Hall as we once again Rise Against Hunger! Stay Tuned!!

A time for fall foliage, pumpkins, costumes, and cooler weather--AND, Blessing of the Animals! We were thrilled to join with the Episcopal church this year at Line Creek Brewery for a festive and fun blessing for the many animals. Newnan Coweta Humane Society was thrilled with the numerous donations made to Pokey's Place. We also celebrated CORRAL in October and it showed in the tremendous monetary donations made to help support the work they do with their riding therapy program. If you want to continue supporting these organizations during the year, please contact the organizations directly for how you can get more involved! Stay tuned for an exciting November as we support Bridging the Gap--to provide Thanksgiving meals to those in need and the annual Christmas in Coweta program. Last Outreach Workshop of the year will be Sunday, Nov 17th immediately following the service. This is our annual cookie swap --so come by and enjoy some goodies!

2024 Bridging the Gap "Christmas in Coweta" Update

"An astounding 2285 Kids were Served through Christmas in Coweta! 🎁🎅 This program would not be possible without the 19 churches ⛪️ 6 schools 🏫 23 businesses 🧱 9 communities or civic groups 🤝 and 86 individuals who shared Christmas cheer to kids! This truly shows the power of community and kindness! 💫 A HUGE thank you to Brent Scarbrough & Company, Inc. for their unwavering support and use of their hanger! 🙌 Without them, this event wouldn't have been possible. February 2025 Outreach Update

February 2025 Outreach Update We are highlighting Angel's House (Chicken Run--annual fundraiser is Feb 1st) and One Roof. Donations can be made to support the Angel's House home and/or to help stock the pantry at One Roof. If you want more information how you can donate your time and energy, please contact Dale directly at  dale.bowers1@gmail.com The final trip with a church group to Merida will happen this month. We appreciate David, Andrea, Melanie, and Kay for taking the time to go down to share fellowship with our sister church in Sitpatch. We look forward to continuing to support them with a student scholarship. Next stop in global missions--Pura Vida in Guatualema June 14-22 where we will help build a home for a deserving family.
